The RealD 3D System

The RealD 3D system for digital cinema has the largest installed base in the world – over 1200 installations to date.

The system uses extremely low cost, disposable glasses (which can be “branded” and used as a souvenir of the film), with a simple filter that sits in front of the digital projector.
