The CP750 Digital Cinema Processor is a key part of Dolby’s comprehensive digital cinema solution. Provides easy-to-operate audio control for all digital cinema servers, three digital preshow and alternative content sources, an existing film sound processor, a microphone input, and an analogue non-sync source. Hearing-impaired and auxiliary analogue outputs complement the CP750’s main eight-channel audio output.

Dolby Digital 5.1, Dolby Digital Surround EX™, Dolby Pro Logic®, and Dolby Pro Logic II decoding are all included.

The Dolby CP650 is the only all-digital cinema processor capable of playing back both digital and analogue Dolby soundtrack formats. Its high quality, proven reliability, unrivalled versatility, and ease of set up have earned it a place in thousands of flagship cinemas worldwide. It can also accommodate new technologies such as digital cinema, ensuring a long and useful product life.

Dolby offer 4 versions of the CP650 to meet all applications.

The CP650’s most popular configuration - simply designated CP650 - processes Dolby SR and A-type analogue, Dolby Digital, and Dolby Digital Surround EX soundtracks.

It also provides four AES3 inputs for digital cinema audio. To these features, the top-of-the-line CP650XO adds built-in crossovers for screen speakers, eliminating the need for a stand-alone crossover unit.

For tighter budgets, the CP650SR comes equipped to process Dolby SR and A-type analogue soundtracks only.

The CP650D adds Dolby Digital decoding; neither of these models includes Dolby Digital Surround EX decoding or digital audio inputs. However, as your needs change and new formats are introduced, you can upgrade any CP650 configuration with plug-in circuit cards and new software.

The Dolby DMA8+ Digital Media Adapter is a simple solution for equipping the sound system for use with digital cinema and other program sources with digital audio.

The DMA8+ uniquely provides all of the interface capabilities and digital inputs for the foreseeable future.

The DMA8+ accepts up to eight channels of PCM digital audio from sources such as digital cinema servers, disks, and satellite and tape systems. It also accommodates Dolby Digital bit streams for non-film sources with up to 5.1 channels, such as DVD players and satellite and cable links. Six analogue output channels ensure straightforward interface with the cinema's existing Dolby sound processor.
