Up to Fifty-percent More Light On The Screen - the ULTRA-STAR* HD PLUS Cinema Projection Lens Series is a complete new development with an outstanding image performance, exceeding the quality of the ULTRA-STAR* HD lenses, both have been honored with the Technical Achievement Award by the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences in Hollywood.
The new lens design is based on the most current status of illumination systems using xenon bulbs and highly efficient reflectors. This fact guarantees a brilliant and even projection with up to 50 % more light on the entire screen when using the full screen width.
Isco Ultra MC
The ULTRA MC series, a Double-Gauss-System, with 6 elements has been created by ISCO. Typical for these cinema projection lenses is the bright and brilliant projection with a high resolution over the whole image field. They can also be used for 70mm film in the focal lengths of 100-150 mm. In the focal lengths of 22-45 mm, retrofocus lenses (7-9 elements) with a corresponding long back focal length are available.
For this excellent development ISCO has been honored in Hollywood in 1978 by the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences with the Technical Achievement Award.
Isco Blue Star
For the Cinemascope projection ISCO has two solutions: extraor- dinary compact integrated anamorphic lenses with focal lengths between 35-95 mm and anamorphic attach-ments with 5 and 6 elements which can be used in connection with both, the ULTRA MC and ULTRA-STAR* HD series. Typical for both systems are the high imaging performance and the lockable focusing ring which guarantees an easy handling.
